years and has been run
by the same
family for over 70 years!
Take a step back in time! This Quaint, Old Fashioned Hotel is right downtown within walking distance of Stores, Gift Shops, Restaurants, Bars, Gas Station, Bank, Lake Superior and our Beautiful Beach on the Bay!
The "Parlor"
The main floor features a large "Parlor" with easy chairs, couches, a television, and a truly relaxing atmosphere!
This room takes one back to the turn of the century where guest often sat around the fire with oil lamps playing cards and visiting with one another. Now, guests can still do that, but conveniences like electric lights and a television remind you that you are living in modern days.
The old Dining Room is now a gathering place for guests and locals, alike.
A large table invites you sit and enjoy some of Bess's coffee and occasional homemade goodies! The old soda fountain is still just as it was over 100 years ago, with a few updates here and there!
Nine guest rooms are located on the second floor in this "Boarding House" style hotel:
- 6 rooms feature Double Beds
- 1 room has 2 Double Beds
- 1 room has 1 Double and 1 Single Bed
- 1 room has 2 Single Beds
All linens are hung to dry with "personally" ironed pillow cases! Just like Grandma used to do!
